The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia is a museum dedicated to the U.S. Constitution and the story of its creation.
As part of the design team, I worked on visual and UI design across From Debate to Document, Windows into Signers' Hall and Signers' Hall Table. All three interactives share one core system — consistent titles, UI buttons and type treatment throughout the gallery. Headers pair a formal serif with a gold script accent. Every button and notification was built to ADA contrast standards.

From Debate to Document
Visitors step into a delegate's shoes and argue out real debates from the Constitutional Convention,choosing between proposals sealed in wax-stamped envelopes, like Electoral College versus popular vote. Six debate topics, each with dense historical text, the challenge was making all of that feel approachable on a touchscreen.

Windows into Signers' Hall
A timeline of the 115-day Convention, laid out as a data visualization with audio of the actual arguments built right in. Color coding and typography carry eight overlapping topics without the screen feeling cluttered.
Signers' Hall Table
A table of 3D-printed miniatures of all 55 delegates, lit from below when interacting. A filter panel lets visitors sort by age, job, or documents signed with color shifting under each figure as selections change. The challenge was making all that layered information feel like exploration, not a database, in a room full of life-size statues.
